Shortly after completing his apprenticeship, Zeller's won the Australian national title for cabinet making and earned the right to compete against the rest of the world in the International Skill Olympics in Taipei, Taiwan in 1993.
Zeller's ranked 6th in the world and received a Diploma of Excellence. He established Zeller's around this time.
Zeller's has travelled the world perfecting his skills. He was awarded the Mother of Pearl Scholarship and The Queens Trust for Young Australians scholarship which sent him on an educational trip around the world to learn from experienced craftsmen, including working in Florence with some of Italy's most accomplished antique restorers.
Zeller's continues his tradition of excellence by nurturing up-and-coming apprentices. Zeller's apprentice Charles Smith went on to rank 8th in the world at the Skills Olympics in 1997 and Adrian Lywood won the regional and national competitions in 2003 to compete in St. Gallen, Switzerland.

We use different species of timber and veneers, including the exotic burl and flame veneers and we also can incorporate other finishes including glass, steel or even shagreen. Many different finishes are available including, shellac, lacquer, oil and wax.
